About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of engineering design change packages for installation, replacement, or upgrade of plant equipment to enhance long‑term reliability.
- Conduct detailed engineering calculations supporting design changes, covering AC and DC power systems, load analysis, and equipment sizing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical engineering issues in nuclear power plants.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols throughout the design and modification process.
- Document design decisions, change rationales, and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in nuclear power plant electrical systems design and analysis.
- Proficiency in AC/DC power system calculations, reliability engineering, and design change management.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a project team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction.
