About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning of high‑voltage power systems, substations, and industrial automation plants from design through hand‑over.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, run functional and performance tests, and document results in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to resolve design‑to‑construction gaps and optimize system performance.
- Provide technical guidance to field crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks.
- Analyze commissioning data, troubleshoot faults, and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical commissioning, with a strong background in power distribution and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
