Lead the development and execution of unit tests for Tesla’s drive systems, ensuring high reliability through advanced test automation and rigorous quality standards using Python, C++ and Selenium.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive unit test suites for drive control software components.
- Develop automated test scripts in Python and C++ to validate functional and performance requirements.
- Integrate Selenium-based UI tests for driver‑facing diagnostics and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and validation teams to troubleshoot defects and improve test coverage.
- Document test cases, results, and defect reports using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advise on best practices for test architecture and continuous integration in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software testing or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++ and test automation frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with Selenium and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of automotive safety standards and drive system architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
