Senior leader to establish and drive systems engineering practices for complex power‑generation projects, overseeing requirements, interface control, risk assessment, and cross‑functional technical execution throughout the project lifecycle.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and institutionalize systems engineering processes for new and existing power‑generation initiatives.
- Lead requirements capture, verification, and validation across concept, design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Manage interface control documents, coordinate technical interfaces, and ensure seamless integration of multidisciplinary subsystems.
- Assess technical risks, conduct trade‑off analyses, and support decision‑making with quantitative performance data.
- Guide cross‑functional teams—including mechanical, electrical, control, and operations—to deliver integrated solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Establish lifecycle performance metrics and oversee verification & validation activities to guarantee long‑term reliability.
Requirements
- 15+ years of systems engineering experience in power generation or related heavy‑industrial sectors.
- Proven track record leading large, multi‑disciplinary projects from concept through commissioning.
- Deep knowledge of requirements management, interface control, risk analysis, and lifecycle verification.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., INCOSE, PMP) preferred.
