About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technology vision and roadmap for implantable heart‑failure management software platforms.
- Lead multiple product development squads using Agile/SAFe practices, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
- Architect scalable, secure cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) and integrate machine‑learning models for real‑time patient monitoring.
- Mentor senior engineers and managers, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, clinical, and regulatory teams to translate medical requirements into robust software designs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing complex, safety‑critical medical devices.
- Deep expertise in software architecture, C++/Python development, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven track record delivering AI/ML‑enabled solutions in regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485).
- Strong Agile/SAFe leadership skills, including team scaling, DevOps adoption, and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across cross‑functional, multidisciplinary teams.
