Lead the product security function, defining strategy, governance and engineering practices to protect medical device portfolios across multiple locations, while ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive product security strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to embed secure development lifecycle (SDL) practices into hardware and software product pipelines.
- Oversee risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability management programs for all product lines.
- Establish and maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443) and ensure audit readiness.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and regulatory affairs to drive security requirements, testing, and remediation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product security, preferably in medical devices or regulated industries.
- Proven leadership of security teams and successful delivery of security programs at scale.
- Deep knowledge of secure software/hardware development, risk management, and compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and drive security culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CISSP, CSSLP) a plus.
