About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute the technology vision in partnership with the Chief Product Officer, ensuring alignment with product strategy and business goals.
- Build and mentor a world‑class engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high‑quality delivery.
- Architect and scale cloud‑native solutions that support real‑time data processing, analytics, and secure storage of sensitive genetic information.
- Champion Agile practices, driving efficient sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross‑team collaboration to accelerate feature delivery.
- Collaborate closely with data science, product, and design teams to translate customer insights into actionable product enhancements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering leadership, with a proven track record of scaling engineering organizations.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern microservices architecture.
- Strong background in data‑driven product development and experience working with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
