About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a distributed engineering team to design, develop, and operate a 99.99% uptime case‑management and workflow orchestration platform used by the Corporate and Investment Bank.
- Drive the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from architecture and feature prioritization to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Champion cloud‑native practices, ensuring the platform is built on AWS, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with data science and AI teams to embed machine‑learning models into automated workflows, enhancing decision‑making and operational efficiency.
- Establish governance, security, and compliance standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering leadership, with proven experience managing large, cross‑functional teams.
- Deep expertise in Python, Node.js, and cloud‑native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong background in building scalable, high‑availability systems and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience integrating machine‑learning models into production workflows.
