Leads multiple data science and engineering teams to ensure data quality, build scalable pipelines, and drive advanced analytics using Python, Spark, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data strategy, overseeing data quality, governance, and pipeline architecture across the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and grow multiple data science and engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and platforms using Apache Spark, Python, and cloud services (AWS) to support analytics and machine‑learning workloads.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, ETL processes, and model deployment, ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and big‑data technologies such as Apache Spark.
- Strong background in cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including services for data storage, processing, and orchestration.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale data pipelines and machine‑learning infrastructure in production environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering data‑driven solutions that impact business outcomes.
