Senior leader responsible for driving the design, implementation, and evolution of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's physical network, leveraging SDN, automation, and advanced routing to deliver secure, high‑performance cloud connectivity.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for OCI's physical network infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead multiple sub‑teams of network engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Architect and implement Software‑Defined Networking (SDN) solutions and automation frameworks to accelerate provisioning and reduce manual effort.
- Collaborate with product, security, and data‑center teams to integrate routing, switching, and load‑balancing technologies across global regions.
- Drive performance monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response processes to meet enterprise‑grade service level objectives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in senior leadership or director‑level roles.
- Deep expertise in network architecture, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), SDN, and automation/orchestration tools.
- Proven track record of building and scaling large‑scale cloud or data‑center networks.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
