About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional strategy for cybersecurity and digital resilience policy, aligning with government priorities and industry standards.
- Engage senior policymakers, regulators, and national security officials to influence legislation and regulatory initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal product, legal, and security teams to ensure policy positions are technically sound and commercially viable.
- Represent the organization at high‑level forums, conferences, and working groups on cyber risk, critical infrastructure protection, and secure digital services.
- Monitor emerging cyber threats, regulatory trends, and geopolitical developments to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity policy, public affairs, or related government relations roles, preferably in the Asia‑Pacific region.
- Deep understanding of cyber regulatory frameworks, critical infrastructure protection, and digital resilience concepts.
- Proven track record of influencing senior government officials and shaping public policy outcomes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical security concepts into policy language.
- Advanced degree in public policy, law, cybersecurity, or a related field.
