Security Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and automation of secure cloud-native pipelines, integrating security controls into CI/CD workflows using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Python.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate deployments on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Integrate security testing (static analysis, container scanning, runtime protection) directly into the delivery pipeline.
- Develop and maintain custom automation scripts and tools in Python to enhance security posture.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to define and enforce DevSecOps best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps/DevSecOps roles, with a strong focus on security automation.
- Proficiency in AWS services, Kubernetes orchestration, and Terraform for IaC.
- Solid scripting/programming skills in Python and experience with Docker containerization.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and security testing tools (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
