Security Engineer
Lead secure cloud operations for IoT data pipelines, driving DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code on AWS with Kubernetes and Terraform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for IoT data ingestion, processing, and storage using AWS services.
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines that integrate security scanning, code quality checks, and automated compliance testing.
- Lead container security initiatives, including image scanning, runtime protection, and Kubernetes hardening.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed security best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of cloud deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
- Proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong background in container security, vulnerability management, and automated compliance.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
