About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure DevSecOps pipelines that integrate security testing and compliance checks into continuous delivery workflows.
- Architect and manage cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS, leveraging IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) to enforce Zero Trust principles.
- Collaborate with agile development teams to embed security controls early in the SDLC, ensuring code, containers, and infrastructure meet DoD security standards.
- Automate security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response across Kubernetes clusters and cloud services.
- Document security architecture, policies, and procedures; provide guidance to developers and operations staff on secure coding and deployment practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud security, and secure software delivery.
- Proficiency with AWS services, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD), and IaC.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust security models and DoD compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- U.S. citizenship; ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
