About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end DevSecOps pipelines integrating security testing, compliance checks, and automated remediation.
- Architect, provision, and manage scalable AWS environments using Terraform and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and resilience.
- Develop reusable Python scripts and Lambda functions to automate security controls, secret management, and incident response.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to drive adoption of cloud‑native and secure development practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or related fields, with a strong focus on AWS.
- Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS).
- Hands‑on experience scripting in Python and building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks (NIST, CIS) and ability to integrate automated security testing (SAST, DAST, IaC scanning) into pipelines.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain any required federal clearances.
