Devops Engineer
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling cloud‑native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Python to support rapid spacecraft launch operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, automated infrastructure on AWS to support launch vehicle and satellite production workloads.
- Develop and manage container orchestration platforms using Kubernetes and Docker for mission‑critical applications.
- Create and evolve Infrastructure‑as‑Code pipelines with Terraform and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable rapid, repeatable deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance during launch campaigns.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to integrate tooling, improve release processes, and reduce cycle time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting/programming skills in Python or similar languages.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience supporting high‑throughput, mission‑critical environments, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
