Devops Engineer
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for building automated provisioning pipelines, managing clustered applications, and driving issue resolution across risk‑focused product platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform and CI/CD tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code pipelines to provision and manage clustered environments for risk‑management products.
- Implement and operate container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and container runtimes (Docker) to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Automate configuration management and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to own incidents from detection through resolution, providing proactive monitoring and root‑cause analysis.
- Optimize cloud resources on AWS (or equivalent) for performance, cost, and security compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating release processes.
- Solid scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash) and familiarity with version control (Git).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, distributed systems and drive issues to closure in a collaborative environment.
