Devops Engineer
Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud‑native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform in a fast‑paced financial technology environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS to support low‑latency market data and trading applications.
- Develop and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes, ensuring performance and security best practices.
- Create and manage infrastructure‑as‑code templates with Terraform, automating provisioning and configuration across environments.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to accelerate code delivery while maintaining rigorous testing and compliance standards.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive continuous improvement of reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, preferably in financial services or high‑frequency trading.
- Strong expertise with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Experience writing reusable Terraform modules and managing infrastructure as code.
- Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash) and deep knowledge of Linux system administration.
