Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring high availability and security across production environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage highly available, fault‑tolerant infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and VPC.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, ensuring automated testing, linting, and deployment.
- Containerize applications with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes, and manage cluster lifecycle, scaling, and monitoring.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation, versioning configurations and ensuring reproducibility.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and conduct post‑mortem analyses to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Proficient with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
