Senior Device Product Engineer - Plessey Semiconductors

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical and optical characterisation of devices and arrays, extracting performance metrics at the smallest scale.
• Operate manual and semi‑automated probe stations to validate device behaviour and bridge design‑to‑production gaps.
• Analyse measurement data to identify yield drivers, recommend process adjustments, and support end‑of‑line testing.
• Collaborate with R&D and production teams to develop new characterisation approaches and optimise device performance.
• Document findings, create detailed reports, and present insights to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong background in semiconductor device characterisation, including electrical and optical techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with probe station operation and data analysis tools.
• Proven ability to translate measurement data into actionable yield and performance improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
