Senior Development DBA responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions using SQL and cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for enterprise applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable database architectures across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Implement performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization to meet SLAs.
- Develop and manage backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies.
- Enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application lifecycle and data migration projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DBA experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
- Proficiency in performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup/recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
