Devops Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise data platforms on Databricks and Azure, driving cloud modernization, security, and scalability to empower analytics and business insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and lakehouse solutions on Databricks and Azure.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and high availability through governance, monitoring, and automation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define platform requirements and optimize performance.
- Lead cloud modernization initiatives, migrating legacy workloads to Azure and adopting best‑practice DevOps practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data platform engineering, with deep expertise in Databricks and Azure services.
- Strong background in data engineering, ETL, and lakehouse architecture.
- Proven track record of implementing security, governance, and monitoring for large‑scale data platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform/ARM), and cloud cost optimization is a plus.
