Lead the design and implementation of scalable Ceph‑based cloud storage solutions, driving performance, reliability, and automation across distributed systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high‑availability Ceph clusters for enterprise cloud storage.
- Implement automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and scaling.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate storage services with cloud platforms and application workloads.
- Analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and optimize storage configurations for cost and throughput.
- Contribute to open‑source projects and internal tooling to advance storage capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in distributed storage systems, preferably Ceph.
- Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Hands‑on experience with C++ or Go for performance‑critical components.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
