Senior Deployment Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and managing Google Workspace migrations and deployments across a large enterprise, leveraging GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end Google Workspace migration projects for large user bases, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Design and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) for Google Workspace and related GCP services.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring workflows using PowerShell, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT teams to enforce policies, audit controls, and incident response procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams and external partners on best practices for Workspace deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience deploying and managing Google Workspace in a large enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation.
- Experience with security, compliance, and audit frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
