Senior Decision Scientist - Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness Analytics - CVS Health

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement predictive and prescriptive models to support pharmacy operations, consumer wellness programs, and strategic decision‑making.
• Analyze large, complex healthcare datasets to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and generate actionable insights for cross‑functional teams.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and clinical teams to translate analytical results into measurable business impact and improved patient outcomes.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in statistical modeling, experiment design, and data governance.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, PySpark) and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
• Strong expertise in experimental design, A/B testing, and causal inference techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business recommendations.
