Lead the design, development, and management of scalable, secure database solutions, driving performance optimization and data integration across cloud and on‑premise environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust database solutions that meet business requirements for scalability, security, and reliability.
- Design and optimize data models, schemas, and partitioning strategies to ensure high‑performance data access.
- Lead performance tuning initiatives, including query optimization, indexing, and resource provisioning.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data transfer mechanisms to support seamless data integration.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enforce best practices and resolve complex database issues.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in relational database engineering (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Strong expertise in SQL programming, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud database services, preferably AWS RDS/Aurora.
- Proven ability to design and implement ETL processes and data migration strategies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on moderately complex to complex projects.
