About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and other database objects to support business applications.
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support, diagnosing and resolving critical database issues with minimal downtime.
- Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and data correction activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Administer Oracle databases: installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
- Design, implement, and maintain materialized views and performance‑optimization strategies to meet SLAs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on data migration, cloud migration, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA/Developer with deep PL/SQL expertise.
- Strong knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and backup/recovery best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with data migration projects and cloud migration (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
