Data Scientist
Lead end‑to‑end data science projects, building scalable ML models on AWS, and driving data‑driven decisions with Python, SQL, and advanced analytics.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production‑grade machine learning models using Python and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, Glue).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for downstream analytics.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation to optimize performance and interpretability.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in model versioning, reproducibility, and documentation.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS ML services.
- Strong background in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and model deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data engineering tools (Airflow, Spark) and version control (Git) is a plus.
