Senior Data Scientist - Supply Chain Machine Learning & Optimization - Talent Groups

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate machine‑learning models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and replenishment planning.
• Develop mathematical optimization formulations and integrate them with predictive models to drive end‑to‑end supply‑chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, feature stores, and model deployment workflows using Python and SQL.
• Monitor model performance in production, conduct root‑cause analysis, and iterate improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on supply‑chain or operations problems.
• Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience developing and solving optimization models (linear, integer, stochastic) using libraries such as Gurobi, CPLEX, or open‑source alternatives.
• Demonstrated ability to build time‑series forecasting models and evaluate them with appropriate metrics.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to communicate complex results to non‑technical stakeholders, and a track record of delivering production‑ready solutions.
