About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning models that address clinical and operational challenges in the healthcare domain.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including clinicians, engineers, and product managers—to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling on large, heterogeneous healthcare datasets.
- Implement scalable pipelines on cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) for model training, validation, and monitoring.
- Communicate findings and model performance to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, providing actionable insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field, preferably within healthcare or life sciences.
- Proficiency in Python and its data‑science ecosystem (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
- Experience with SQL and handling large relational or NoSQL datasets.
- Hands‑on experience deploying models on AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, Lambda, etc.).
