Lead advanced analytics and AI initiatives, building scalable models and data pipelines to drive product innovation and user engagement across a high‑growth visual messaging platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning models that power recommendation, content moderation, and personalization features.
- Build and maintain large‑scale data pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services to ingest, clean, and transform diverse data sources.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Mentor junior data scientists and conduct code reviews to uphold best practices in model development and experimentation.
- Stay current with emerging ML techniques and evaluate their applicability to product challenges.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or related fields, with a strong track record of productionizing ML models.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Deep expertise in supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch), and model evaluation.
- Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and data warehousing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across technical and non‑technical teams.
