Data Scientist
Lead advanced analytics initiatives as a Senior Data Scientist, building predictive models, designing experiments, and delivering data-driven insights using Python, machine learning, and cloud platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning models to support investment strategies and client outcomes.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and A/B testing to evaluate product performance and risk metrics.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes in SQL and cloud environments (AWS) to ensure reliable, scalable data access.
- Create clear visualizations and dashboards that communicate insights to non‑technical audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics, preferably in finance or wealth management.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and strong SQL querying skills.
- Hands‑on experience with statistical modeling, time‑series analysis, and machine‑learning algorithms.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS S3, EC2, SageMaker) and data‑pipeline tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex findings to senior leadership.
