About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable recommendation systems for high‑traffic platforms.
- Develop personalized recommendation engines using collaborative filtering, content‑based, hybrid, and deep learning techniques.
- Implement and optimize models such as ALS, SVD, FM, DeepFM, Wide & Deep, and session‑based recommendation algorithms.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to translate business goals into technical solutions.
- Monitor model performance, conduct A/B testing, and iterate to improve recommendation quality and user engagement.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of experience in data science with a focus on recommendation systems.
- Experience deploying models at scale using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with cross‑functional teams.
