Senior Data Scientist, Product - Expedia

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning models that influence product features and personalization.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Communicate insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in experimentation and model governance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
• Strong background in supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
