About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning models for battery performance forecasting and energy market price prediction.
- Analyze large‑scale time‑series data from IESO, ISO‑NE, PJM, and NYISO to uncover optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate predictive insights into the shared‑savings storage platform.
- Build automated data pipelines and dashboards on AWS to support real‑time decision making for commercial and industrial clients.
- Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analysis, preferably in energy, utilities, or cleantech.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
- Strong background in time‑series forecasting, statistical modeling, and machine‑learning algorithms.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker) and building scalable data pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
