About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement predictive models to detect and prevent payment errors across provider networks.
- Analyze petabyte‑scale datasets on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and SQL to ensure high‑quality, reproducible data for analytics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, finance) to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Communicate insights and recommendations through clear visualizations and executive‑level presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on payment or financial data.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, PySpark) and advanced SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, AI Platform, and Dataflow.
- Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
