About the Role
Nizmara Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to develop and implement advanced models for customer segmentation, sentiment analysis, and forecasting accuracy. This role will involve working with both structured and unstructured data to generate actionable insights that drive business decision-making. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define data needs and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of analytics outputs. This position is for an FMCG subsidiary of PIF (Public Investment Fund) in Riyadh. Initially, the position will be contractual and remote, with potential relocation expected in the second half of the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement machine learning models for customer segmentation, sentiment analysis, and predictive forecasting.
- Analyze and process structured and unstructured data to extract meaningful business insights.
- Build data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and product managers, to understand data requirements and define analytical goals.
- Validate and optimize analytics outputs to improve model accuracy and business impact.
- Apply statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and data visualization to communicate findings effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in machine learning and data science.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field from leading universities.
- Proven experience in machine learning, predictive modeling, and data analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL, with experience in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
- Experience working with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured data using tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and NLP frameworks.
- Global working experience in the related field is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
