About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize real‑time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink and Apache Kafka.
- Apply Machine Learning algorithms to large‑scale streaming data for predictive analytics and anomaly detection.
- Write production‑grade Java code and maintain Linux‑based infrastructure for data services.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to translate business problems into scalable data solutions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best‑practice guidelines for data engineering and model deployment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Java and hands‑on experience with Apache Flink and Apache Kafka.
- Deep understanding of Linux environments and performance tuning for high‑throughput workloads.
- Proven track record of building and deploying ML models in production, preferably on streaming data.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting.
