About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions for enterprise‑scale defense applications.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate mission requirements into data‑driven models and scalable pipelines.
- Implement robust data engineering workflows, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance in classified environments.
- Optimize model performance and operationalize solutions on cloud and edge platforms, leveraging containerization and CI/CD practices.
- Mentor junior data scientists and provide technical guidance on best practices in modeling, experimentation, and reproducibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering.
- Experience with data engineering tools (Airflow, Spark, Kafka) and secure data handling in classified or high‑integrity environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
