About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production‑grade machine learning models to forecast energy demand and optimize portfolio performance.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue) to ingest, clean, and transform large volumes of energy market data.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and domain experts to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and feature engineering to improve model accuracy and interpretability.
- Document model logic, performance metrics, and deployment procedures for reproducibility and auditability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, preferably in energy or utilities sector.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Glue).
- Strong background in machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with large‑scale data processing and cloud‑based data warehouses.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
