Senior Data Scientist II - RELX Group

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance data pipelines on AWS and Spark to ingest, transform, and serve large‑scale customer and marketing datasets.
• Build and productionize machine‑learning models that generate actionable insights for real‑time decision making and campaign optimization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions and data products.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations that communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for data quality, model monitoring, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a strong focus on building production‑grade models and pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, PySpark) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and big‑data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, experiment design, and machine‑learning algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work cross‑functionally in fast‑paced environments.
