Lead advanced analytics for Medicaid and CHIP data, driving insights and predictive models to improve enrollment performance and cost efficiency using Python, SQL, ML, and AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines for Medicaid and CHIP datasets, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- Develop predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast enrollment trends, identify high‑risk populations, and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable dashboards.
- Deploy models to production environments on AWS, monitoring performance and maintaining model governance.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive‑level presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science within healthcare or public‑sector analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine‑learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Strong statistical background and experience with healthcare metrics such as eligibility, enrollment, and cost indicators.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex analyses into business insights.
