About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex public sector challenges.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions.
- Perform advanced data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation using Python and SQL.
- Utilize AWS services (SageMaker, Redshift, Glue) for scalable data pipelines and model hosting.
- Ensure compliance with security clearance protocols and data governance standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles within government or public sector environments.
- Proficiency in Python, machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services and model deployment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Valid security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
