Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable data pipelines for NGA’s AI model accreditation program, leveraging Python, SQL, AWS, and geo‑spatial analytics to ingest, transform, and route imagery data across multiple security domains.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, standardize, and transform NGA imagery for AI model accreditation.
- Implement secure data routing across multiple security domains using AWS services and best practices.
- Collaborate with data scientists to develop machine‑learning-ready datasets and feature engineering workflows.
- Optimize performance and scalability of data infrastructure, ensuring high availability and compliance with security standards.
- Document architecture, processes, and data governance policies for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and data science, with a strong focus on pipeline development.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda).
- Hands‑on experience with geo‑spatial data formats and tools (e.g., GeoTIFF, GDAL).
- Deep understanding of data architecture principles and secure data handling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross‑functional, high‑security environment.
