Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement predictive models and statistical analyses to inform monetary policy and financial stability research.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, leveraging SQL and cloud services (e.g., AWS) to ensure reliable, scalable data access.
• Collaborate with economists, engineers, and policymakers to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Create interactive visualizations and dashboards that communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Lead mentorship and knowledge‑sharing initiatives, guiding junior analysts in best practices for machine learning and reproducible research.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional experience applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques to large, complex datasets.
• Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis, model development, and automation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS for data engineering and model deployment.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to present technical results to diverse audiences.
