Lead advanced analytics for credit risk, building predictive models and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and machine learning techniques to support risk assessment and decision-making.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end credit risk models, from data ingestion to model deployment.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to uncover insights and improve risk scoring.
- Validate model performance, conduct back‑testing, and document findings for regulatory compliance.
- Communicate results to stakeholders, translating complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with SQL databases.
- Proven track record in building credit risk or financial risk models.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and model validation.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and data pipeline tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
