About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that predict shopper behavior and optimize marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS, ensuring data quality and integrity from first‑party retail sources.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in model governance and reproducibility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics within a retail or consumer‑packaged goods environment.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Strong background in machine learning algorithms, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex insights to non‑technical audiences.
