About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to predict product quality, yield, and process efficiency in chemical manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business challenges into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from production, quality control, and laboratory sources using SQL and Python.
- Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience applying machine learning and statistical techniques in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
- Strong understanding of chemical manufacturing processes and quality metrics.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to translate complex data into business value.
