Asper.ai is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience to train machine learning and deep learning models on large-scale time series datasets. The role involves developing end-to-end automated pipelines for demand forecasting, inventory management, and price recommendation, along with data exploration, descriptive analysis, and visualization. Job Responsibilities:
- Train machine learning and deep learning models on large scale time series datasets
- Develop end to end automated pipelines for use cases like inventory management, price recommendation, demand forecasting etc
- Use data wrangling and exploration to extract insights and relationships from the data
- Perform descriptive analysis and build visualizations to help customer understand what drives the business metrics
- Identify and measure levers to help move essential metrics and make recommendations
- Perform accuracy analysis to identify opportunities for performance improvement on specific slices of data and ensure high performance across all slices
- Conduct research and prototyping innovations; data and requirements gathering; solution scoping and architecture; consulting clients and client facing teams on advanced statistical and machine learning problems
- Collaborate and coordinate with different functional teams (engineering and product development) to implement models and monitor outcomes
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a data scientist, applied scientist, data analyst, machine learning engineer or a related role
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar domain
- Experience working with demand forecasting, supply chain optimisation, driver analysis, time series analysis, statistical models, regression models and deep learning models
- Experience of working on end-to-end data science pipeline: problem scoping, data gathering, EDA, modelling, insights, visualizations, monitoring and maintenance
- Ability to create efficient solutions to complex problems. Strong skills in data-structures and ML algorithms
- Problem-solving: Ability to break the problem into small parts and applying relevant techniques to drive required outcomes
- Expertise in exploratory data analysis, visualisations, ETL, hypothesis testing, experimentation, automation, etc.
- Proficiency in Python (including packages like numpy, pandas, sklearn, pytorch, tensorflow, matplotlib), SQL and Excel

- Strong problem-solving ability and a knack for statistical analysis

- Experience in building up solutions
- Strong Insights for Customers and domain specific solutions
Good to have:
- Experience working in CPG, FMCG or retail industry is a plus
- Experience in working with Linux computing environment and use of command line tools
- Candidates from Tier-1/Tier College will be preferred.
