Data Scientist
Lead advanced analytics projects, building predictive models and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS to drive business insights and optimize retail operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning models to solve complex business problems across retail domains.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytics teams.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation using Python and SQL.
- Communicate findings through visualizations and dashboards in Tableau, presenting results to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a strong focus on predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Hands‑on expertise in machine learning frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
